The AHA acid that belongs to the group of lactic acid has long been known as a source of beauty and youth. In ODA cosmetics, this acid is also considered to be one of the most important and most effective ingredients. In the second half of the 20th century, scientist Silon Sachdev conducted experiments with lactic acid peels in order to check the effectiveness of this acid. After this procedure, all subjects had fewer acne scars and facial skin became noticeably brighter. [1] Subsequent studies by Japanese scientists discovered that, thanks to AHA acids such as lactic acid, skin collagen and procollagen increased. This leads to increased skin firmness and elasticity. We offer products with three different concentrations (20%, 40%, 60%) of acid for acid peels, which solves the most challenging dermatological problems. The concentration is chosen by the specialist according to the client’s skin, its sensitivity and dermatological problems. If your client is in your office for the first time, the peel should always be performed with the lowest concentration of acid – 20%. To affect the deeper layers of the skin and achieve more successful results, we recommend you choose products with 40% and 60% concentrations.
