Dermarollers

Dermarollers

Dermarollers are cosmetic tools used for microneedling therapy.

They consist of a handle and a spinning drum equipped with tiny micro-needles.

Features of dermarollers:

  • Various needle lengths: Dermarollers come with needles of different lengths, usually ranging from 0.25 to 2.5 mm. The needle length determines how deeply they penetrate the skin and is selected according to the procedure’s goals.
  • Stimulation of natural skin regeneration processes: Microneedling therapy with a dermaroller stimulates the skin’s natural regenerative mechanisms. The tiny needles induce micro-injuries, promoting collagen and elastin production, improving blood flow, and facilitating metabolic activity within the tissues.
  • Skin texture enhancing: Dermarollers help improve skin texture, minimize pore size, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and achieve a more even skin tone.
  • Hair growth stimulation: Applying dermarollers to the scalp can stimulate hair growth by improving microcirculation and activating hair follicles.
  • Increased skin permeability: The insertion of micro-needles into the skin increases its permeability, enabling greater absorption of cosmetic products and active ingredients into deeper layers.
  • Easy to use: Dermarollers are easy to use both at home and in professional beauty settings. Nonetheless, consulting a specialist before use and adhering to application instructions is recommended.

Keep in mind that microneedling therapy using a dermaroller may cause mild discomfort and result in temporary skin redness and irritation.

Moreover, it’s essential to adhere to hygiene and disinfection protocols to minimize the risk of infections.
