Sunekos from Professional Dietetics is a new injectable treatment that contains amino acids and hyaluronic acid. Sunekos 1200 is an injectable treatment with an antioxidant effect for severe wrinkles and damaged skin. The proprietary formula contains hyaluronic acid and a combination of amino acids, collagen and elastin. This combination helps stimulate extracellular matrix regeneration, leading to dermal biogenesis. Sunekos is an excellent alternative for patients who want a natural look. Sunekos 1200 has antioxidant and volumizing properties. It results in immediate volume in combination with the use of Sunekos 1200 + Sunekos 200. It is well known that natural HA over 1 Mio Dalton protects fibroblasts and structural parts of the dermis, as a Free Radical Scavenger, improves skin elasticity and maintains skin well-being. Sunekos® 1200 is a Class III medical device, available for both needle and cannula format. There are two formulations of the product available:
- Sunekos 200 – Hyaluronic Acid low molecular weight – age 25+,
- Sunekos 1200 – Hyaluronic Acid medium molecular weight – age 45+.
Protocol: Sunekos is injected into the mid-deep dermis of the treatment area using either micro-bolus or retrograde linear injections. 1 treatment with Sunekos® 1200 as a Scaffold followed, on the same day or no more than 1 or 2 days later, by 3 or 4 treatments of Sunekos® 200 at 7/10 day intervals each.
